Purpose and editorial approach

Quropedia is a curiosity-led publication built around questions that cross science, history, technology, philosophy, nature, culture, mysteries and the human mind. Curiosity is the starting point—not a substitute for evidence. Our aim is to make complex or unusual subjects understandable while preserving the difference between what is established, what is interpreted and what remains uncertain.

Research and sources

We aim to rely on sources appropriate to the subject, including primary documents, peer-reviewed research, official institutions, reputable reference works, recognised experts and established reporting where relevant. The strength of the language in an article should reflect the strength of the available evidence.

Not every source carries the same evidentiary weight. Extraordinary, disputed or historical claims may require additional context, corroboration and caution. Where a subject cannot be resolved from the available evidence, we prefer to state that uncertainty rather than present speculation as fact.

Evidence, interpretation and speculation

Quropedia sometimes explores legends, emerging research, ancient traditions, mysteries, hypotheses and contested claims. Where relevant, we aim to distinguish documented evidence from interpretation, allegation, belief, tradition and speculation. An idea can be interesting without being established, and inclusion in an article does not automatically mean endorsement.

AI and editorial tools

Quropedia may use software and AI-assisted tools to support parts of research, drafting, editing, summarisation, metadata, production or quality-control workflows. These tools do not replace editorial responsibility. Material published under the Quropedia name remains subject to editorial review, and important factual claims should be checked against appropriate sources rather than accepted solely because an automated system produced them.

AI-assisted production should not be used to invent sources, fabricate quotations, manufacture evidence or present uncertain material as established fact. Where automated tools introduce an error, that error is treated like any other editorial error and may be corrected under the Corrections Policy.

Author identity and bylines

Quropedia editorial articles are published under the author identity Aadvik Agastya, a pen name used consistently across the publication. A pen name does not reduce Quropedia’s responsibility for the accuracy, sourcing and editorial standards of material published on the site.

Updates and corrections

Articles may be updated as evidence develops, sources improve or additional context becomes useful. Minor edits to spelling, grammar, formatting or clarity may be made without a formal notice. Material factual corrections are handled under the Corrections Policy and may include an editorial note where appropriate.

Editorial independence and commercial relationships

Quropedia is designed as an editorial publication. Advertising, sponsorships, affiliate relationships or other commercial arrangements should not determine the factual presentation or conclusion of a story. Material commercial relationships that could reasonably affect how readers understand content should be disclosed appropriately.

Community content

Questions, polls, forum posts and other contributions from Quron members are community content rather than Quropedia editorial articles unless they are expressly presented as such. Community participation may be moderated under the Terms, but publication of a contribution does not mean Quropedia endorses the contributor’s claim or viewpoint.

Corrections and editorial questions

Correction requests or questions about these standards may be sent to team@quropedia.com or through the Contact page. Please include the relevant article URL and supporting source where possible.
