Quropedia aims to publish engaging, understandable and responsibly researched content. We also recognise that factual errors, unclear wording or outdated information can occur. This policy explains how we handle corrections.
Our Approach
When a credible error is brought to our attention, we assess it against reliable sources and the context of the article. If a material factual error is confirmed, we aim to correct it promptly and accurately rather than allow known misinformation to remain on the site.
Types of Changes
Minor edits—such as spelling, grammar, formatting or wording changes that do not alter the substance of an article—may be made without a correction notice. When a correction materially changes a factual statement, conclusion, attribution, date, figure or other significant element, we may add an editorial note or correction notice where appropriate so readers can understand the change.
Developing and Historical Subjects
Some Quropedia topics involve developing research, competing interpretations, historical uncertainty, folklore, disputed claims or subjects for which evidence is incomplete. Updating an article to reflect new evidence or scholarship is not necessarily a correction. Where appropriate, we aim to distinguish established facts from hypotheses, interpretations and unresolved questions.
Submitting a Correction
If you believe an article contains a factual error, please email team@quropedia.com or use our Contact page. Identify the article, describe the statement you believe is incorrect and, where possible, provide a reliable source supporting the requested correction. Specific, sourced submissions help us review issues efficiently.
Review and Editorial Independence
Correction requests are evaluated on their evidence and editorial merits. A disagreement with an interpretation or viewpoint does not by itself establish a factual error. Quropedia retains editorial responsibility for determining whether and how published material should be corrected, clarified or updated.
Commitment to Readers
Our goal is not to suggest that every article will remain permanently unchanged. It is to maintain a publication that becomes more accurate and useful as credible information develops and genuine errors are identified.
